ABOUT MUTTLYNS
About LYN
I was born and bred in Chichester and worked with dogs before joining the Army. In 2006 I became a dog owner, giving Ollie (the Collie) a new forever home. Then 3 years later Ruby joined us. Through walking Ollie and Ruby I built up a network of doggy friends and we often cared for each other’s pets.
I loved being surrounded by dogs so much I decided on a career change and in 2018 Muttlyns dog walking service was established. Within a year customer demand inspired me to evolve the business into a Doggy Daycare and Home-boarding service, which has grown from strength to strength.
In July 2021 I lost Ollie then in February 2022 I lost Ruby. I spent a while thinking I wouldn’t get another dog of my own but then in July 2022 Darcy (Chihuahua/Pointer X) found me. She was born in April 2020 spending the first 3 months of her life in Spain before being rehomed in the UK. Her first placement was far from ideal and for 2 years she had not been socialised or very well cared for. Darcy is good with dogs & humans but extremely anxious of environmental factors, finding the big wide world overwhelming. We are working together to help her overcome this.

ABout Jax
Lyn first met Jax when she moved to Bognor in 2018 and needed someone to care for her terrier cross, Lily, who became one of Muttlyns first clients, and Lyn very quickly developed a firm friendship with Jax.
In 2019 Muttlyns employed Anything Organised (Jax’s business) to deal with their administration and deep cleaning while Lyn is out having fun with the dogs. So, if you get any boring forms to fill in or tedious emails to answer they are probably from her! Over time, Jax started to help Muttlyns more and more with Doggy Daycare, so in 2022 she undertook and passed her IMDT level 3 NVQ in Professional Doggy Daycare and Home Boarding. She has also completed Doggy First Aid training.
